The point of this blog..
This blog is really for my own purposes. I am fascinated by statistics, I like to know the exact date things happened, so I can work out lengths of time between things occuring etc. as a result of this, I spend a fair bit of time trying to work out or remember when things happened (finding receipts from around the time etc), and I thought this would make my life a bit easier, so I wouldn't have to remember when things happened.

Take, for example, the fact that my hot water heater broke several days ago, it's probably close to 2 weeks ago now, and I can only work this out from the number of days I have gone avoiding taking a cold shower (usually 3 before my own stink nearly forces me outside). I don't know when this happened, or exactly how long I have been too lazy to fix it, but if I was blogging, I would know exactly how long it has been.

The blog will also be a place to keep my random ramblings, which I usually try to force on people who are really not interested. This gives me a place to put all that nonsense.
